Time sure flies when you have a kid. October 13th marked Gideon's first year. And a little later on the 26th marked a year since releasing “Longing to Pour Out My Heart (In Simple Songs of Love)”. Though I haven't been so active on social media and my website in the past months since releasing Gideon's dedication EP, “The Chronicles of Gideon,” in the spring, I have enjoyed playing a few House Concerts arranged via SofaConcerts.org. Mid July through to the beginning of October also marked my return to busking on the streets of Düsseldorf's “Altstadt” along the Rhine River. Every chance I got, I'd grab my guitar case with guitar, sign and flyers in it and bring Venturvane directly to the masses.
In the coming months, now that winter weather is settling in a bit early, I'll be aiming (should the Lord be willing and I still be living) to tackle projects like blogging, videos, “The Psalmist” and maybe (a big emphasis on the maybe) a new album. So, keep your eyes and ears peeled to my websites.
Last, but not least, a big thanks to all of you for your time and interest so far. Especially to those of you newcomers via my NoiseTrade Music and NoiseTrade Books pages. I'm currently updating my music catalog there with lossless .wav files to replace the .mp3 versions now that NoiseTrade supports lossless qualities. So, please do continue to spread the word, support and share the music. I'd love to hear from you too; feel free to drop me a line here.
